She watched him take a long drag of the cigarette, the butt of it lighting up in a deep red glow. Her lips burned as it did, with curiosity, but she didn't dare ask him to try it. She never did, especially when he got like this. He let out a heavy sigh, smoke leaving his lips. She pulled his jacket closer to her body.
